Psychology Clinic
The Psychology Clinic is a teaching clinic, for doctoral students of clinical psychology. The clinic provides counseling, testing and assessment services including:
- Individual and couples therapy
- Emotional issues such as anger and grief
- Assessment for learning problems and gifted children
- Sorting through sources of stress
Counseling Clinic
The Counseling Clinic is a teaching clinic, primarily for second-year counseling students. The clinic specializes in a wide variety of clinical issues for children and adults, such as:
- Grief and loss
- Anger/emotion management
- Decision making
- Life transitions/family issues

The first installment of the Creative Writing Collective for the winter semester will take place on Tuesday, Jan. 21 at 5:30 in the Briggs Building, Room 205. All Detroit Mercy students, staff, faculty, alumni and friends are invited!
Poetry submissions due Feb. 7 for Dudley Randall Poetry Prize Competition
Detroit Mercy undergraduate students are eligible to submit one poem of 55 or fewer lines with all topics and poetic forms welcome. The deadline for submissions is Friday, Feb. 7, and the first prize is $150!
