Accelerated 6-Year (3+3) Law Scholars Program for College of Humanities, Arts & Social Sciences Majors
-
Economics Major
Students majoring in economics develop their analytical talents in ways that will help them apply careful reasoning skills and gain a unique perspective on human behavior. These skills aid in helping predict the effects of particular rules, explain why certain rules exist and analyze whether they should exist.
-
English Major
The study of English allows students to develop the ability to read and analyze texts that are complex and sophisticated, many of which deal with legal topics. Students majoring in English generally score higher on the GRE, LSAT, MCAT exams and earn higher scores on the GMAT exams than undergraduate business majors.
-
Philosophy
As a student of Philosophy you'll be mastering new ideas, thinking analytically, communicating persuasively, evaluating evidence and reasoning soundly. All skills needed for the study of Law.
-
Political Science Major
Completing undergraduate work in political science provides a foundation for research and analytical skills, and greatly helps students better understand the context of law, the systems that surround it and leadership within public service.
