    Registration Policy

    • Registration closes seven days before the class begins.
    • If a class is full at the time you register, you may opt to be put on a wait list. Our registration system will automatically alert you if a seat opens up.
    • If a class is not full, late registration or walk in registration might be possible. Please register for an account on our platform and then email centerforjusticestudies@udmercy.edu for availability.

    Cancellation Policy

    Cancellation
    If you need to cancel your registration. You may do so yourself.
    • Cancellation is subject to a non-refundable $25 fee per class.
    • Canceled registrations will be reimbursed by the method in which they were paid and will only be issued after your initial payment has been confirmed which may take between 30 and 90 days.

    You may cancel your registration by clicking the cancellation link in the confirmation email you would have received when you originally registered.

    Refunds

    • Unless otherwise posted, a full refund less $25 will be granted if cancellation occurs seven or more days prior to the start of the course.
    • If a cancellation is received less than 6 days prior to the start of a course, no refund will be granted.
    • Refunds will not be provided for same-day cancellations or no-shows.
    • Approved refunds will be issued in the same manner of payment.
    • Refunds will be issued only after the original payment has been received. This may take between 30 and 90 days.

    COVID-19 Protocols

    All classes held at the University of Detroit Mercy Center for Justice Studies will comply with current safety protocols established by University of Detroit Mercy. Protocols may include but are not limited to temperature checks, social distancing and wearing masks.
